“Life isn’t all diamonds are rosé, But it should be.” Was a tagline once said by one of my favourite reality show stars Lisa Vanderpump.
Let me just tell you that this was my reality on November 19 2014, hehe!
I enjoyed both a nice glass or rosé (Perrier Jouet to be exact) and the finest diamond jewellery that Maison Birks has to offer at their 55 Bloor street location.
Joining me as my guest were the fabulous Han sisters (Jina and Monica) they’re always both super kind and fashion and I had loads of fun shopping for jewelry with them.
Van Cleef and Arpels for those of you who don’t know is a French jewelry, watch, and perfume company founded in 1896 by Alfred Van Cleef. This brand is one of the most covetable and timeless high end jewlery brands of our time. (Prices for their products ranges between $4’000-$700’000+)
As you can tell by the pictures, almost everything made by Van Cleef and Arpels tends to incorporates their signature four leaf clover. I find it to be spectacular as they manage to take something so simple and common and make it glamorous!
After having checked out everything at the Van Cleef and Arpels counter, my friends and I decided to check out the rest of the store.
Helping us with our adventure was Sharlane Letwin who went out of her way to answer all our questions and made us all feel very comfortable.
Sharlane showed us some of the finest engagement rings that birks had to offer! Including this beautiful dark green colour changing cushion engagement ring (Priced at $145,000) and also a pear shaped canary diamond ring (priced at $98,000).
Side note: These pictures do not capture the rings and their beauty properly! I strongly recommend everyone check these and the rest of the jewelry featured in store and…prepare to be amazed.
All and all, I had loads of fun attending this event! I learned so much about fine jewelry And had the chance to enjoy fancy horderves and premium cocktails. This being said, I plan on attending any future events happening at Maison Birks.
