October RECAP – Partying In A Castle, Fashion Week & Store Opening

Toronto Life 50 year anniversary party

Location- Casa Loma (A.K.A HAUTED CASTLE)

Outfit – Edgy Prada boots, Meets preppy TopMan pants, Meets Ratchet H&M toque

Ahh Toronto Life! The first monthly magazine to feature myself and blog for the first time. Not only are they one of the most respect media platforms in our city, but also, one of the most well known! Every Sunday, as a child, my dad would read Toronto Life with his cup of coffee in the morning. Attending their 50 year anniversary party, was not only my a way to show my respect for the platform, But also to thank them for the Sunday morning nostalgia with my Dad.   Complete with a Veuve bar, Portland Variety dessert station & Red carpet. Toronto Life never disappoints!

NORDSTROM Yorkdale Gala

Location – Nordstrom Yorkdale store

Outfit – All black, and an excuse to wear my leather Haider Ackeman pants again.

Ain’t no party like a Nordstrom party don’t stop ayyyye! I attend my second Nordstrom launch in October at their Yorkdale location this time. I must say, I do prefer this location over the Eaton Center one. Primarily because this location has Canada’s first Delveaux boutique. I know I say this in every blog post. But we really do need a YAS for this one louder than the others?  Delveaux is single handled one of the only leather goods companies that compares to Hermes in quality (And Price). I will definitely be shopping at this boutique for the people on my nice list. (and the people on the naughty list will get Michael Kors :P) But in all seriousness. This event was so much fun! So glad to have had the opportunity to attend both gala’s. Congratulations Nordstrom on your international expansions.

FashionCAN and Canada Goose Launch

Location – Yorkdale mall’s new wing

Outfit – “Chanel” neon pink sweater with my Louis Vuitton Pettie Malle crossbody

FashionCan was such an incredible way to keep the Toronto fashion industry on their toes and prove to us that our local fashion community is more tight knit than expected. I did a full feature on the my top 3 favorite fashion shows from fashion. But to finish off the second day of shows… Canada Goose hosted an invite only party welcoming their first flagship store in the world. Being among one of the individuals invited. I must say it was such an amazing party. Keys and Krates were Djing, Susurlee was doing the food. Moet Ice bar & City council Norm Kelly was hosting. #6GODComeTrue haha
