Friendship breakups and finding happiness again

I love the month of October, and it just disappeared… like the boxes of candy hidden in my mom’s purse closet. 😛 #SorryMom. This is the end to the Pumpkin spice lattes everyone. 🙁 Want to know why this is a good thing? We’re now heading into the months of candy canes, reindeer and credit card workouts. A.K.A. My absolute favorite time of the entire year! The holidays!!! I can already hear the sleigh bells ring!!!YAASSSSSSSS SANTA YASSSSSS

I’m so glad to be going into the jolliest time of the year, as, regardless for my love of the month of October, it has been very mentally exhausting for me. Along with the obvious stressful midterm’s season. I also had to cut off one of my 2 year friendships this month. This has been difficult for me, as I loved and respected this person like family…unfortunately life does go on. People change. Friendships end.

I’m now in a new chapter in my life. Surprisingly enough, this loss hasn’t caused me as much anxiety as I expected. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t easy. But I gained happiness and maturity in return. I also had the opportunity to reconnect with some of my long-time friends (that I haven’t spoken to in months!!!!). I fell back in love with my education and I now have more time to focus on my blog. I found my happiness again!

This outfit was inspired by a similar look a friend of mine wore a to a housewarming party and fashion show, I attended earlier in the fall. I paired my gradient gray – black cape with my cozy light gray Topshop pants and my white canvas Masion Martin Margiela sneakers. I kept it simple with my arm candy, my gold Celine Knot bracelet & Balenciaga cuff to complete the look.

Have you experienced a friendship break-up? Let me know your story down below in the comments and I’ll try to respond to as many of your stories as possible.

Until next time 😛
