On Saturday, January 18th, I had the pleasure of attending one of Toronto’s newest hotspots—GRAND BIZARRE! This one-of-a-kind supper club is unlike anything you can experience in this city, and possibly even the world! What makes this venue so unique? Well, imagine having one place with the most delicious (and most Instagrammable) food, high-end circus entertainment, dancers, bottle service and more!
Saturday also marked the exciting launch of GRAND BIZARRE’s CANADIAN DESIGN INITIATIVE in collaboration with TORONTO FASHION ACADEMY—the monthly event will showcase some of Canada’s top designers while allowing guests to explore everything GRAND BIZARRE has to offer! We got to preview the fabulous MOSCATO PINK ready to wear collection (check them out here), but could you imagine that this was only one of the many surprises in store for us throughout the night?
We kicked off the night, the best way we know how—with a glass (or two) of bubbly champagne! As we chatted, and enjoyed our drinks we were stunned by the aerialist performer that commanded the attention of the whole room—room is really an understatement, this venue is HUGE! Before we knew it, we had a whole feast of food at our table that included a sushi boat, taco fiesta, and even a steak platter (p.s I am still salivating over that rib-eye)! As the evening went on burlesque dancers feasted our eyes, cotton-candy clouds towered over our table and the music got louder as the party got bigger and bigger!
